Career Planning:

I was thinking if I had aspirations to be a criminal, I should go some place were incarceration rates are low. For example, you would NOT want to be a criminal in the US. The country imprisons way too many people and the prisons are a Dante's inferno.

Denmark would be the perfect choice for a life of crime. The prison terms are short and most describe it as summer camp. You can see a photo of a Danish prison cell at Life In A Danish Prison. According to the article, the rooms are better than in most US college dorms, the Danish prisoners are allowed a TV, and video game consoles. They even get tanning beds. It sounds like being on vacation.

Wouldn't it be great if you could move in only one day? Just say, "hey, I'm tired of this place, I'm out of here." That's why people buy RVs. Of course, if your home is going with you, are you really moving?

It’s tough for me to log out of Second Life. I know that about myself. I can waste hours chatting about nothing important, going here and there, delaying my return to the real world for no good reason. Because I can't deal with it, my only hope is to somehow survive it until I can get back here. Now you know my secret. I'm addicted, but not to drugs or alcohol. It's a different way of altering my mind.
